OUR COMMUNITY STORY
OUTSTANDING COFFEE
We grow and buy the finest coffees from the highlands of Kigezi and in particular Kanungu District, Western Uganda. These coffees are cupped and re-cupped throughout the purchasing, roasting, and packaging process to ensure that you are always getting the best quality possible.
COMPETITIVE PRICING
We take every precaution to ensure our pricing is competitive and as stable as market conditions will allow. We believe strongly that great coffee still needs to be competitively priced so independent coffee shop owners and retailers can sustain their businesses long term.
OUR PRODUCTS
We produce Robusta clonal cuttings / seedling for sale to farmers throughout the Country. We also produce exports Robusta and Arabica grades, plus fresh roasted, ground and full-bodied blend that are crafted especially for espresso aficionados.
Designed to hold its flavor and produce a generous crema, our unique blend produces a straight, smooth shot that is dark, rich, pure essence of coffee.
OUR COMMUNITY STORY
At Adventures we have embarked on organizing the farmers into producer groups and helping them come up with development programs combined with training them to produce quality coffees that would ensure a better return on their harvest.
Over the years African farmers (Ugandan in particular) have produced quality coffee of which they do not consume because value addition is an expensive and tedious (in their minds) process.
Adventures Premium coffee decided to address this by partnering with CURAD a Makerere University run Coffee incubation center in Kabanyoro Agricultural College a roasting and packaging facility in Kampala to process the coffee at a fee, which allows the company to retain a greater proportion of the value addition thereby enabling us support the farmers and empower their communities.
How do we do this?
Adventures Premium Coffee invests 15% of its profits in the growers and their communities. As part of reaching out to the communities on a more personal level, we have embarked on supporting a large number of children orphaned whose famer parents lost their lives to HIV/AIDS. We try to be in touch with these communities on a wholesome level.</p> <p>We feel great about our coffee but we feel even greater about the farmers because we believe we can’t have one without the other.
Our Marketing Channels
Our distribution team covers raw coffee sales to coffee exporters for International markets. Internally, we distribute roast and ground coffee through tourism sites, local café markets, Duty free shops, Super markets, Hotels and Resorts around Uganda.</p> <p>Adventures Premium Coffee has a diverse selection of coffee products and can arrange wholesale distribution in and around the world.
